SPRING tERM 2012

The Spring Term will run for ten weeks between Monday 16th January - Friday 23rd March. Courses run one day a week for ten weeks unless stated otherwise.

From this spring term Kensington Palace Studios is expanding its present programme to include the wider applied arts as well as painting and sculpture. Observational
drawing will remain at the centre of our practice, whilst we broaden the media employed in the making process. Courses will address three major thematic strands: The Body, The Landscape and Representation in Art. The enlarged range of practices offered will include printmaking, clay and wax sculpting, mixed media processes, textiles and painting as well as an Art History lecture programme.

Every course offered at Kensington Palace Studios and The Prince’s Drawing School is taught by distinguished artists and teachers from leading institutions including The Royal Academy, The Royal College of Art and The Slade. We are one of only a few institutions in the world offering in-depth, quality tuition for those who wish to develop their observational drawing skills.
